Deep Fishing Tier Lists
Rarity, gamepasses, and upgrades ranked for the hold-and-release loop.
Deep Fishing is an incremental Roblox fishing game from LazyGames, live since 18 July 2026. You hold and release a cast, pull several fish from the water you can actually reach, sell the haul, and spend coins on Strength so the next cast lands farther out. Farther water is where rarer fish live. This hub is the map for that spend order: what a fish is worth, which of the nine gamepasses actually help, and which upgrades deserve coins before luxury luck.
Use the three lists together instead of treating any one of them as a shopping list. A Secret catch is the top of the fish rarity tier list, but you will not see that water if Strength is still short. Gamepasses can stack luck, coins, mutations, or quality of life, yet they sit behind the coin upgrade that adds distance. The upgrade tier list is the page that decides the next purchase when the shop is open and the pier is busy.
Servers hold up to twelve players. The experience is free to play. There were no confirmed promo codes in September 2026, so ranking your coins and passes matters more than waiting on a drop. Like, favorite, and join LazyGames if you want the listed group rewards while you grind.
How these lists are ranked
Every ranking on this wiki starts from the same loop: hold-release cast, multi-fish haul, sell, Strength, farther water, rarer fish. We do not invent species names, Robux prices, or luck percentages that the shop does not publish. When a pass has a clear job (Double Coins feeds Strength, Auto Sell clears inventory, More Mutations hunts variants), we rank that job against the loop. When a pass is a bundle with unpublished extras, we say so and keep it out of a fake S-tier.
Rarity is a ladder, not a combat roster. Common fish (everything below the named badges) pay the bills. Legendary, Mythical, and Secret are the headline ranks, in that order, and Secret is rare enough that it has its own first-catch badge. Mutations sit on top of whatever rank you already landed. A mutated Common is still not a Secret. A mutated Secret is the kind of haul you do not Auto Sell by accident.
The three lists
- Fish rarity — Common through Secret, with mutations as a modifier, plus how those ranks line up with badges.
- Gamepasses — Lucky, Super Lucky, Ultra Lucky, VIP, More Mutations, Double XP, Double Coins, Fish Magnet, and Auto Sell, split for free-to-play players versus spenders.
- Upgrades — Strength first, then luck, then Fish Magnet and Auto Sell once volume makes them pay off.
If you only open one extra page after this hub, open the cast planner. It is a text spend-order, not a gadget, and it exists so you do not buy Ultra Lucky while your bait still lands in the near ring.
Free-to-play versus spender
Free-to-play Deep Fishing is the same game: hold, release, sell, Strength. Your rank list is short. Strength until farther water is reliable. Sell everything that is not a badge fish or a mutation you still need. Watch the codes hub in case a string appears later, and grab group gifts in the meantime. Luck passes are optional until the rod already reaches the water those passes are meant to bless.
A spender still buys Strength with coins first. Money spent on luck does not replace distance. After the rod reaches better rings, Double Coins speeds the Strength loop, the luck stack (Lucky, Super Lucky, Ultra Lucky) raises the odds of headline fish, More Mutations helps the First Mutation badge and later variant hunting, Fish Magnet and Auto Sell help long sessions, and Double XP plus VIP are the last seats at the table unless you specifically want their extras.
How to use a rank without wrecking a session
Read the rarity list before you sell a weird-looking fish. Read the gamepass list before you open the Roblox shop. Read the upgrade list before you dump a full inventory into the first shiny button. Then confirm the plan on the cast farther guide and the coin guide. Rare-fish routes live on how to catch rare fish; mutation routes live on how to get mutations. Badge progress is tracked on the badge list.
The lists will not name a mascot species or a secret pond that does not exist in the files we can verify. They will tell you which rank is higher, which pass is a volume tool, and which upgrade is the one that unlocks the rest.
When a patch changes the shop, start here, then jump to the matching subpage instead of rewriting your whole plan from memory. The updates hub and the launch notes explain what shipped on 18 July 2026; this hub explains what to do with it on the pier.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Deep Fishing questions.
Which Deep Fishing tier list should I open first?
Start with the upgrade rankings if you are spending coins, the fish rarity list if you just landed something unusual, and the gamepass list only after Strength already reaches better water.
Do I buy a luck gamepass before Strength?
No. Strength is the distance upgrade and it still comes first for free-to-play players and spenders. Luck only matters in water your rod can already reach.
What is the rarity order in Deep Fishing?
Common fish sit below the named ranks. Then Legendary, then Mythical, then Secret. Mutations modify a catch; they are not a fifth species list. Details are on the rarity tier list.
Are these lists based on invented Robux prices?
No. This wiki does not publish Robux prices. We rank jobs against the hold-release-sell-Strength loop and leave shop numbers to the live game.
Where do I plan a full spend order?
Use the cast planner for a session checklist, then confirm coin routing on how to make coins.
